Description

Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler. The Distillery Labels series revives G&M's vintage label designs; this 13 Year Old matures the rich spirit in Oloroso.

Thirteen years in Oloroso lend dried fruit through the cask's melanoidins over Longmorn's weighty make.

At 46% it shows citrus, honey, a cooked-mash depth and dried fruit, the sherried side of the hidden gem. A Distillery Labels 13.
