Description
This official bottling comes from Mortlach itself. Mortlach's heavy, savoury style comes from worm-tub condensing and a part-triple distillation through the Wee Witchie, unchanged since 1897.
Tawny Port and virgin oak gave the robust Mortlach spirit plum, raisin, heavy vanilla and spice.
At 57.8% it shows citrus, fresh fruit, a hay-like note, fresh oak, vanilla and a sherried depth, undiluted. A meaty, muscular Mortlach.
