La Maison du Whisky, the celebrated Paris merchant. Mosstowie was the heavier malt Miltonduff made on its Lomond stills between 1964 and 1981, a separate spirit from the same Speyside distillery. This Artist 35 Year Old is a 1979 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 5043, an outturn of 61.

By thirty-five years Mosstowie's weightier make had become profound but delicate, old-library oak and waxy esters over fruit worn soft by the decades.

At 43.5% it shows deep mature orchard fruit and vanilla. A 1979 Mosstowie 35.
