From Van Wees, the Dutch house behind The Ultimate range's Rare Reserve range, this 34 Year Old is a 1979 vintage. Mosstowie was the heavier malt Miltonduff made on its Lomond stills between 1964 and 1981, a separate spirit from the same Speyside distillery. From ex-Bourbon cask 1355, an outturn of 185 bottles.

By thirty-four years the dense, oily Mosstowie character had become profound but delicate, old-library oak and waxy esters over fruit worn soft by the decades.

At 51.5% it shows deep mature orchard fruit and vanilla, undiluted. A 1979 Mosstowie 34.
