From The Daily Dram's Poisonous Frog Series, this Croftengea is a heavily peated malt from Loch Lomond, a 12 year old from 2006.
Twelve years in ex-Bourbon soften the peat, the cask's vanilla softening the peat beneath.
At 51.6% it shows fresh fruit and honey over the wood smoke, guaiacol and tarry phenols behind the reek. A peated Croftengea.
