Littlemill 20 Years Old 1990 (Silver Seal)

Silver Seal is the Italian label of Massimo Righi, a collectable single-cask house. Filled in 1990 and bottled in 2010, the whisky is a 20 year old Littlemill. A lost distillery leaves only what was already laid down, and those reserves grow thinner each year.

A bourbon barrel and twenty years settle Littlemill's gentle Lowland character.

At 46%, the American oak frames the fruit with vanilla. A delicate, floral character, silky and gently sweet. Oak lactones and lignin-derived vanillin build the vanilla-and-coconut signature, the gentle American-oak tannins keeping it soft.
