Glasgow's Hart Brothers has released single-cask Scotch since the 1960s. Filled in 1988 and bottled in 2013, the whisky is a 24 year old Littlemill, from the Finest Collection range. With the distillery demolished and no new spirit possible, every bottle is drawn from a pool that only shrinks.

Time in ex-Bourbon, twenty-four years of it, frames Littlemill's gentle Lowland character.

At its natural 54%, vanilla and a soft oak frame from the ex-Bourbon. Expect chocolate. The American oak's low tannin let Littlemill's delicacy survive the years, contributing vanilla and a creamy lactone note.
