Hart Brothers, a Glasgow family firm, has bottled single casks for over half a century. Filled in 1988 and bottled in 2015, the whisky is a 26 year old Littlemill, in the Finest Collection - Cask Strength range. What remains is all that ever will, the distillery long since lost.

Twenty-six years of Port steep the light, clean Littlemill make in the cask.

At its natural 52%, plum and red fruit come from the Port. Expect grassy freshness, honey and a creamy vanilla sweetness. The Port cask's residual wine pigments and sugars lend plum and red fruit, the wine tannins adding a drying edge. Long maturation has cost the cask dearly to the angels, easing the alcohol and leaving a deeper, concentrated spirit.
