Knockdhu anCnoc Peter Arkle 3rd Edition (Bricks)

This is the Bricks edition, the third in anCnoc's Peter Arkle series, with packaging by the New York-based Scottish illustrator. Bottled in 2013, an outturn of 6,000 bottles. Knockdhu distillery, in Banffshire, is named anCnoc to avoid confusion with Knockando, and is one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, founded in 1894.

The granite distillery returned to work in 1989. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the wood gives a clean vanilla sweetness to the bright spirit.

Bottled at 46%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanillin for vanilla and oak lactones for coconut, with maltol for toffee over the fresh, fruity malt. An illustrated limited-edition anCnoc.
