Description

This 2007 single cask is a 17 year old anCnoc drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 629 and bottled in 2024 for Germany, an outturn of 180 bottles. Knockdhu, in the Banffshire countryside, adopted the anCnoc name so as not to be confused with Knockando.

Whisky has flowed again here since 1989. Seventeen years in a single ex-Bourbon cask build a waxy, vanilla depth.

Bottled undiluted at 56.5%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanillin for vanilla and oak lactones for coconut, with maltol for toffee, the full strength lifting the fresh, fruity malt. A full-strength single-cask anCnoc.
