Description

This 2001 vintage is a 14 year old anCnoc, bottled in 2015, an outturn of 6,000 bottles, one of the distillery's annual vintage releases. Knockdhu distillery, near Huntly in Banffshire, took the anCnoc name to keep it distinct from Knockando.

Matured in American oak casks over fourteen years, the wood deepen the malt with vanilla and a soft, waxy weight.

Bottled at 46%. Vanilla and coconut come from the American oak. On the palate, citrus, dried fruit, fresh fruit, honey, a malt extract note and new wood. A vintage anCnoc.
