Tanqueray London Dry goes back to Charles Tanqueray and a recipe that has barely changed since 1830. It is distilled four times to an exceptionally clean, crystal-clear spirit, and its character comes not from a long botanical list but from a short, emphatic one: juniper, coriander, angelica and liquorice, each pulling its full weight. The nose carries juniper with pronounced pine, peppery coriander, aromatic angelica and a subtle liquorice nuance.
