This Caribbean blend brings together rum from Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad, aged for up to twelve years in ex bourbon barrels and bottled by Denmark's 1423 World Class Spirits at a soft 40 percent. The company is best known among enthusiasts for its purist single cask line, though this approachable branded blend sits in a softer, more crowd friendly register.

At drinking strength and with a sweeter, easygoing profile, this leans accessible rather than intense. The nose offers vanilla, soft wood, light spice and fruit, the palate is sweet and fruity with raisin and vanilla, and the finish stays soft and short with gentle spice and dried fruit. The Guyanese molasses depth and a little Jamaican character show through, but this is a relaxed, rounded sipper rather than a powerful navy style blend. Honest framing fits here, it is an easy, soft pour for casual drinking more than a complex bottle for serious study.
