The port shapes everything, with vanilla, toffee and barrel on the nose giving way to red wine, sour cherry and an oily texture on the palate, closing on port, dried fruit, tannin and barrel. Christmas spice and raisin run through a soft, sweet body that reads more like flavoured porty rum than classic molasses rum.
