O’Donnell Moonshine Vodka

O'Donnell Moonshine made its name on flavoured moonshine jars, and this vodka is the stripped-back, clear counterpart to that range. The brief is neutrality: the house aims for a crystal-clear, purist style with reduced flavour so the spirit gives a drink structure and intensity without stepping on the other ingredients. It carries a fine wheat character underneath, the grain that lends vodka its soft, rounded body, and is set at 40% to give it enough backbone to hold up in a mixed drink while staying smooth on its own.

The nose is neutral and clean with fine cereal notes and a faint mineral edge. The palate is mild, smooth and balanced with a gentle spice, and the finish is clear, soft and dry.
