O’Donnell Moonshine Pomegranate Likör

O'Donnell Moonshine Pomegranate is a flavoured moonshine style liqueur from the German brand O'Donnell Moonshine, which builds a clear grain spirit into a wide range of flavours bottled in its trademark mason jars, an echo of the American Prohibition era. This expression centres on ripe pomegranate, its fruity, tart character balanced by a mild sweetness, with red berries and blackberry filling out the fruit. It is bottled at 20%, in the lighter, sessionable band.

The nose is fruity with pomegranate, red berries and a light fruit acidity, the palate full bodied, sweet and sour with pomegranate seeds, ripe blackberry and a fine play of fruit, finishing fresh, slightly tart and medium length with delicate berry. Behind the bar it brings tart pomegranate and berry flavour, sweetness and a fresh acidity, which makes it a natural in fresh summer cocktails and long drinks mixed with tonic, sparkling wine or Prosecco.
