Miyagikyo 10 Years Old

Miyagikyo 10 Years Old is a single malt from Nikka's Miyagi Prefecture distillery, established in 1969 in a wooded river valley near Sendai. The taller pot stills and indirect steam heating that define the site give a gentler, more fruit-forward spirit than its sibling at Yoichi, and a decade in wood brings that character into clear focus.

Matured in Ex-Bourbon casks, the spirit picks up vanilla sweetness and soft wood spice alongside the house notes of orchard and red fruit, fresh malt and a light floral lift. Bottled at 45%, the 2025 release offers a polished, approachable expression of Miyagikyo's riverside elegance.
