Description

Duncan Taylor, the Huntly independent founded in 1938 with one of Scotland's deepest cask inventories. This Octave 7 Year Old is a 2008 vintage finished in a small Oloroso octave, cask 8310695, 66 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the delicate Speyside drawn from the abbey-blessed Black Burn and long bound for Ballantine's.

Finished in an Oloroso octave, the floral spirit drew raisin and date fast over seven years, the concentrated cask doing the work of a larger butt.

At 46.7% it shows young sherried fruit over the floral body. An Octave 7.
