Description

Duncan Taylor, the Huntly independent founded in 1938 with one of Scotland's deepest cask inventories. This Dimensions 6 Year Old is a 2008 vintage small-batch ex-Bourbon Miltonduff. Miltonduff, the fresh, floral Speyside distilled beside Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin and long bound for the Ballantine's blend.

Six years in ex-Bourbon kept things spirit-led, the char cleaning up raw notes as the low-tannin oak began lending vanilla to the sweet, floral distillate.

At 46% it shows bright apple, pear and vanilla. A Dimensions 6.
