Description

From Chivas Brothers' Secret Speyside Collection, this 32 Year Old is a 1991 vintage Miltonduff in American oak, a rare mature official of a malt usually hidden in Ballantine's. Distilled on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin, where the Black Burn supplies the distillery founded in 1824.

Thirty-two years in ex-Bourbon pushed Miltonduff's light spirit to a fragile, ethereal depth, long oxidation and esters bringing beeswax, sandalwood and soft tropical fruit.

At 43.8% it shows mature apple and pear, honey and vanilla over a delicate, rounded body. A Secret Speyside 1991.
