Description

Adelphi, the esteemed independent revived in the 1990s. This Selection 32 Year Old draws on a 1981 vintage in ex-Bourbon, cask 5066, 197 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the delicate Speyside drawn from the abbey-blessed Black Burn and long bound for Ballantine's.

By thirty-two years the floral spirit had become profound but delicate, old-library oak and waxy esters over fruit worn soft by the decades.

At 53.1% it shows deep mature orchard fruit and vanilla, undiluted. A 1981 single cask 32.
