Miltonduff 25 Years Old 1989 (Sansibar)

Sansibar, the German independent, bottles this 25 Year Old in its Spirits Shop' Selection, a 1989 vintage in ex-Bourbon, 150 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the fresh, floral Speyside distilled beside Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin and long bound for the Ballantine's blend.

Across twenty-five years the refill oak gave less while oxidation and a slow angel's share did the work, the light, floral spirit deepening into dried fruit, leather and an oily weight.

At 47.2% it shows deep mature orchard fruit and vanilla, undiluted. A Spirits Shop' 25.
