Description

The Malt Whisky Company bottles this 20 Year Old, a 1995 vintage single cask selected by industry veteran Stuart Nickerson, an outturn of 166. Miltonduff, the fresh, floral Speyside distilled beside Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin and long bound for the Ballantine's blend.

Twenty years in ex-Bourbon brought maturity, the low-tannin oak now a frame for baked fruit, light spice and a waxy thread in the fresh, floral character.

At 56.8% it shows mature apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A Stuart Nickerson selection 20.
