Description

Elixir Distillers releases this 17 Year Old in its Single Malts of Scotland range, a 2007 vintage matured in Oloroso, cask 900778, a release of 625 bottles. Miltonduff, a light, floral Speyside from near Elgin, its spirit long destined for the Ballantine's blend.

Across seventeen years the sherry's melanoidins and growing oxidation built dried fruit, nutmeg and polished oak into the fresh, floral character.

At 59.6% it shows citrus, a coal-smoke note, hay, a leafy lift and a mossy depth over sherried fruit, undiluted. A Single Malts of Scotland 17.
