Description

This 15 Year Old Special Distillery Bottling dates from the Allied era, a rare official Miltonduff from the years before Chivas. Distilled on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin, where the Black Burn supplies the distillery founded in 1824.

Across fifteen years the oak's ellagitannins added structure while oxidation deepened the fresh, floral character into cooked fruit and light spice.

At 46% it shows a green, vegetative lift over sweet cereal, apple and honey. An Allied-era Special Distillery 15.
