Description

This 13 Year Old is a Fine Old Highland Malt bottling of Miltonduff, the floral Speyside malt better known as the heart of Ballantine's. Distilled on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin, where the Black Burn supplies the distillery founded in 1824.

Thirteen years in ex-Bourbon settled Miltonduff's light spirit, honey and vanilla knitting with apple and pear as slow oxidation began its work.

At 43% it shows red apple, pear, sweet cereal and honey over a delicate body. A historic Italian-market 13.
