Asta Morris, the Belgian independent, bottles this 13 Year Old, a 2011 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask AM080, an outturn of 112 bottles. Miltonduff, the fresh, floral Speyside distilled beside Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin and long bound for the Ballantine's blend.

Across thirteen years in American oak the tannins softened and esterification got underway, vanilla and light fudge rounding the grassy, floral make.

At 52% it shows red apple, pear and soft vanilla, undiluted. An Asta Morris 13.
