Description

From The Caskhound's Animals of Scotland series, this 13 Year Old is a 2011 vintage matured in Oloroso, cask 801630, 283 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the delicate Speyside drawn from the abbey-blessed Black Burn and long bound for Ballantine's.

Thirteen years in Oloroso wrapped the fresh, floral character in raisin and date, the sherry's melanoidins and softening tannin knitting with the fruit.

At 52.2% it shows citrus, fresh fruit and a solvent lift over sherried fruit, undiluted. An Animals of Scotland 13.
