Description

Duncan Taylor, the Huntly independent founded in 1938 with one of Scotland's deepest cask inventories. This Single Cask 13 Year Old is a 2009 vintage from Oloroso cask 83900020, an outturn of 349 bottles. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.

Thirteen years in Oloroso wrapped the floral spirit in raisin and date, the sherry's melanoidins and softening tannin knitting with the fruit.

At 54.6% it shows sherried dried fruit over the floral body, undiluted. A single cask 13.
