Description

Duncan Taylor, the Huntly independent founded in 1938 with one of Scotland's deepest cask inventories. This Single Cask 12 Year Old is a 2011 vintage from Oloroso cask 83900087, an outturn of 358 bottles. Miltonduff, a light, floral Speyside from near Elgin, its spirit long destined for the Ballantine's blend.

Twelve years in Oloroso wrapped the floral spirit in raisin and date, the sherry's melanoidins and softening tannin knitting with the fruit.

At 54.4% it shows sherried dried fruit over the floral body, undiluted. A single cask 12.
