Description

Duncan Taylor, the Huntly independent founded in 1938 with one of Scotland's deepest cask inventories. This Octave 12 Year Old is a 2011 vintage finished in a small Oloroso octave, cask 8338783, an outturn of 83. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.

A small Oloroso octave packed dried fruit into the soft, floral character across twelve years, melanoidins and tight oak contact giving raisin quickly.

At 52.5% it shows sherried dried fruit over the floral body, undiluted. An Octave 12.
