Description

From Van Wees, the Dutch house behind The Ultimate range, this 12 Year Old is a 2009 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 701783. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside malt distilled near Pluscarden Abbey and long destined for Ballantine's.

By twelve years the ex-Bourbon cask had integrated with Miltonduff's light spirit, caramelised hemicellulose lending toffee alongside the vanilla.

At 46% it shows orchard fruit, pear and vanilla. An Ultimate 12.
