Description

Adelphi, the esteemed independent revived in the 1990s. This Selection 12 Year Old is a 2007 vintage from Oloroso cask 800734, an outturn of 189. Miltonduff, the delicate Speyside drawn from the abbey-blessed Black Burn and long bound for Ballantine's.

Twelve years in Oloroso wrapped the sweet, floral distillate in raisin and date, the sherry's melanoidins and softening tannin knitting with the fruit.

At 59.5% it shows sherried dried fruit over the floral body, undiluted. A sherried single cask 12.
