Lunazul Tequila Blanco

Lunazul Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber tequila made at the Tierra de Agaves distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, a house founded in 2002 by Francisco Beckmann. The unaged blanco is the most direct expression in the range, hand labelled and bottled at drinking strength to put the agave front and centre.

The nose is refreshing and fruity, with tropical and apple notes, a healthy dose of salt and citrus that reads close to fresh agave. The palate is half viscous and peppery, ripe fruit tones giving way to crisp citrus and a whisper of vanilla, the finish balanced and long with citrus, pepper and herbs. Bottled at 40%, it is a bright, citrus driven blanco that keeps a clean, peppery agave presence throughout.
