The Elgin house of Gordon & MacPhail, trading since 1895, held unrivalled Longmorn stocks. This 46 Year Old, a 1964 vintage from Oloroso cask 1034, was a single cask for La Maison du Whisky, an outturn of 192 bottles.

Forty-six years in Oloroso wrapped the rich spirit in dried fruit through the cask's melanoidins, the years worn into deep maturity.

At 45% it shows profound sherried fruit over Longmorn's worn richness. A 1964 single cask.
