Lochlea Cask Strength (Batch 2)

Batch 2 of Lochlea Cask Strength leans more sherried, the distillery's own-barley spirit matured across Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso. From the Ayrshire farm that grows everything it distils.

The two sherry casks layer dried fruit over the spirit, the PX's residual sugars giving raisin and the Oloroso's melanoidins fig, full strength keeping it vivid.

At 60% it shows dried fruit, a sherried character, chocolate and fresh fruit over a malty note and new wood, undiluted. A sherried cask strength Lochlea.
