This is a 7 year old Lochlea from a 2018 vintage, a vatting of several ex-Bourbon casks from the distillery's earliest spirit, among the oldest Lochleas yet released.
Seven years in ex-Bourbon round the spirit, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla while the distillery's own barley shows through.
At 50% it shows clean orchard fruit and vanilla, a matured ex-Bourbon Lochlea. A 7 year old.
