Lochlea 6 Year Old 2018/2024

This is a 6 year old Lochlea from a 2018 vintage, a small-batch vatting of bourbon and Oloroso casks, an outturn of 2,500 bottles. Among the older Lochleas, from the farm's earliest spirit.

Six years across ex-Bourbon and Oloroso lend vanilla and dried fruit, the sherry's melanoidins giving fig and raisin over the distillery's own barley.

At 50% it shows chocolate, citrus, dried fruit, new wood and a sherried character, a mature Lochlea. A sherried 6 year old.
