Legendario Anejo 9 is a Cuban style rum made from molasses on a column still and aged in ex-bourbon wood. While Cuba's tradition leans toward clean ron ligero, this darker expression carries a bit more rough character, with the spirit's integration showing its limits, so the honest read is a simple, everyday pour rather than a polished sipper.

The nose opens on fruit, wood, a touch of glue like funk and caramel, the palate turns sweeter with wood, spice, honey and a spirity edge, and the finish is spicy and woody with honey over a thin body.
