Description

This 14 Years Old was bottled for Feis Ile 2026, a cask strength release of 1,752 bottles for the Islay festival, with Oloroso alongside the American oak. One of Islay's south-coast distilleries, Lagavulin was founded in 1816.

The heavily peated make comes off the stills slowly, gaining body. Matured in Oloroso and American oak at full strength, the sherry adds dried fruit to the smoke.

Cask strength, 56.5%. The smoke is carried by guaiacol and phenols, the Oloroso giving dried fruit, the American oak vanilla. A sherried festival cask strength Lagavulin.
