Description

This is a blended malt version of the White Horse Old Blend, the famous whisky Peter Mackie created in 1890 around Lagavulin, a vintage bottling for France. Lagavulin, on Islay's southern shore at Lagavulin Bay, was the smoky heart of the blend.

Peter Mackie ran Lagavulin and built White Horse into a leading blend. This blended malt version combines Lagavulin's Islay smoke with other malts.

Bottled at 43%. Lagavulin's peat gives a coastal smoke beneath the blend's malt sweetness. A vintage blended malt of the historic White Horse.
