Description

This is the third Offerman Edition, Lagavulin's ongoing collaboration with actor Nick Offerman, an 11 year old released in 2022. Lagavulin, on Islay's southern shore at Lagavulin Bay, was founded in 1816 and is one of Diageo's most sought-after malts.

Lagavulin's peated wash is taken slowly off pear-shaped stills. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, eleven years carry the smoke over a fresh, oily spirit.

Bottled at 46%. Guaiacol and phenols give the smoke, the ex-Bourbon adding vanilla. Tasting notes take in smoke, a malt extract note, citrus, fresh fruit, an oily texture and vanilla. The third Offerman collaboration.
