Whiskydudes, a German independent, bottles this Inchfad, Loch Lomond's heavily peated island malt, a 14 year old from 2007, cask 1072.
Fourteen years in ex-Bourbon soften the bold peat, the low-tannin oak giving vanilla below the reek.
At 56.6% the wood smoke runs over a sweet barley core, smoke phenols and guaiacol to the fore. A peated Inchfad.
