Herencia de Plata Blanco Tequila

Herencia de Plata Blanco is the upper range of Tequilas del Señor, a long established house based in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Built from Blue Weber agave, it is an unaged Blanco from a producer whose lineup also includes a coffee liqueur drawn from the same base spirit.
Unaged, it shows the agave plainly, with a herbal and citrus tilt. The nose offers cooked agave, fresh mint, soft herbs, citrus fruit, green apple, grapefruit and pepper, while the palate carries cooked agave, grapefruit, mint and eucalyptus over a faintly bitter edge. Bottled at 38%, it is a clean, herb driven Blanco from a producer steadily moving its Guadalajara plant toward solar power.
