Grey Goose is made in the Cognac region of France from winter wheat grown in Picardy and spring water sourced at Gensac-la-Pallue, where the water passes through limestone before reaching the distillery. The wheat gives a soft, rounded body, and a five-fold distillation keeps the grain character clean rather than stripping it bare. This particular bottling holds six litres of that same spirit and arrives with an LED sticker, a format made for visibility at a celebration where a standard bottle would go unnoticed. The science inside is unchanged; only the scale and the staging are different.

The nose offers light almond, vanilla and fresh wheat. The palate is soft and velvety with elegant cereal notes, a fine sweetness and a clean mouthfeel, finishing long and smooth.
