Green Spot is the standard bearer of the Spot range, the pot still whiskey tied to Mitchell and Son, the Dublin wine merchants who bonded and marked their casks. This 10 Years Old carries an age statement and was released in 2025 as a centenary edition, a single pot still distilled at Midleton in Co. Cork and bottled at 46% for the Irish market.
Maturation runs across ex-bourbon American oak and Oloroso sherry, the classic Spot pairing, giving vanilla and dried fruit around a core of green apple, honey and malt. Ten years in wood deepens the fruit while the unmalted barley keeps the peppery, oily pot still character. Triple distilled and unpeated, fragrant and orchard fresh in the Midleton house style.
