Gran Patrón Tequila Platinum Blanco

Gran Patrón Platinum is the top blanco tier from Patrón, produced at Hacienda Patrón (NOM 1492) near Atotonilco in Jalisco. The house works with a blend of tahona crushed and roller milled agave at large scale, and this expression is triple distilled, then assembled from a portion rested briefly in small oak casks married back with fresh Patrón blanco. Patrón states its tequila is additive-free.

Despite the short oak contact it stays crystal clear and shows little wood, leaning instead on the blanco character: fresh, fruity and lightly peppery with delicate citrus. The palate is smooth, creamy and notably soft, with gentle agave running through a fruity, mellow finish. The hand finished crystal bottle and presentation box are part of the appeal, but the liquid is a clean, citrus driven blanco built for sipping.
