Description
A.D. Rattray traces its name to a firm established in 1868 and releases single casks in its Cask Collection. This Croftengea is a peat-forward Loch Lomond malt, a 12 year old from 2007, cask 397.
Twelve years in ex-Bourbon soften the peat, the bourbon oak lending a vanilla counter to the smoke.
At 54.7% the wood smoke runs over the malt, guaiacol and cresols carrying the smoke. A peated Croftengea.
