Dark and full-bodied, with dried plum, cocoa and a fruity sweetness wrapped around firm juniper and gentle spice. Made in Berlin by Brandstifter, this limited 2025 edition leans on cocoa nibs and dried fruit for genuine depth. Warming, faintly amber, and built for the cooler months.

Description
Berliner Brandstifter distils in the German capital, drawing where it can on Berlin's own botanicals, and this Dark Dry Gin Edition 1.2025 is a deliberately moody departure from the brand's brighter house style. Alongside the usual juniper and citrus, the recipe reaches for cocoa nibs and dried plums, which lend the spirit its faint amber cast, its full body and a darkness you can taste. It is a small, detail-driven release made to reward slow attention.
The nose is complex, juniper laced with dried plum, cocoa and a subtle spiciness; the palate is full and balanced, intense juniper carried on fruity sweetness and a hint of cocoa. The finish is long and deep, with a slightly spicy warmth. It is good enough to sip neat or over ice, but it also makes a remarkable Negroni; either way, pair it with a square of dark chocolate.
