Asaka Koriyama is a blended whisky from Sasanokawa Shuzo, the Fukushima producer behind the Asaka distillery. The Koriyama name honours the city in Fukushima prefecture where Sasanokawa has long been based, situating this expression firmly in the company's home territory. It is a no age statement release bottled at 40% and made for the French market.

Matured in Ex-Bourbon casks, the spirit typically shows gentle vanilla and soft grain character in the house style of the Yamazakura family of blends.
